Police Custody and New Arrests

If a recent arrestee does not appear in the St. Louis City inmate locator, the City says the person may still be in police custody, on the first floor, or at a police substation awaiting transport. For that stage, call SLMPD Prisoner Processing at 314-241-8339.

Use the City GOV/QA Sunshine portal for non-online booking records, older records, or specific public-record requests. Missouri Sunshine Law, including RSMo 610.011 and 610.023, governs inspection and copying of public records unless another law closes the record.
